Extracurricular after school activities/holiday programs
We offer a broad range of fun and engaging activities to encourage children to eat more healthily, be more active and take part in new enriching activities which support their development and wellbeing. Activities will include arts, sports, environmental awareness, cooking and playing games. Children will also have the opportunity to visit country parks, local farms and our local allotments for arts based and environmental activities to give them wider experiences for both mainstream and SEND children. Winter of Wonder
Extracurricular after school activities/holiday programs
Winter of Wonder give children and young people a program of activities to look forward to at Christmas. This will include activities such as arts and crafts, sports, party games and lots of culinary activities resulting in a party atmosphere. Our activities will focus on improving inter-personal skills and provide a positive experience for those children and young people taking part. Winter Warm
Winter survival packs from the Handsworth Association of Schools
Winter survival packs, tailored emergency food packages and bedtime care packages will be distributed to vulnerable families to help them keep warm as the temperatures drop every winter. HAOS wants to help ensure that vulnerable families do not go hungry or without essential items.

Community Connectors are professional based in the ten localities across Birmingham. They sit within the Lead Voluntary Sector Organisation in each locality as part of the Locality Early Help Team.

The Foodbank is Open
HAOS Food Hub was set up in 1999 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We exist to support professionals with the resources to help families within the school community. We help with food, hygiene and care packages and to date have delivered thousands of these packages. We are hugely grateful for the extraordinary generosity showed by our food donation partners and our school staff and local community who have enabled us to provide this service.
