Opening Ceremony

YPP has officially opened for the 2024/25 school year.

We would like to say thank you to councillor Waseem Zaffar who officially opened this year's YPP and for participating in the Q & A which allowed The YPP Delegates the opportunity to ask the questions that were important to them. We would also like to thank Julie Goodhall for arranging and taking the YPP delegates on a guided tour of the Council House, providing them with an insight to the History of this amazing building. It was an honour to walk through those gilded halls, full nostalgia and memorable moments, something the YPP Delegates will never forget.

All delegates are given a welcome pack during this ceremony which contains everything they need to be prepared for being a YPP Delegate. The kit includes their YPP Badge, a YPP Pen, a YPP Notebook and a YPP Bag to carry everything in and needs to be brought to every YPP session. Along with all the great experiences they will have, it is a keepsake which they can keep to remember their time as a YPP Delegate.
