Handsworth Association of Schools is an independent local charity set up to enhance the life chances of children, young people and families through educational, community and family interventions. HAOS is one of the longest standing school partnership networks in Birmingham with an active membership of over 23 schools. From our Family Hub we work by bringing communities together through partnership working with schools and established community partners to improve the lives of families.
From after school activities, exciting cultural events, learning programs, a responsive food bank and so much more, our hard-working team of committed staff and volunteers are here for families in Handsworth.

As a result of the current (January 2022) we have decided to where possible continue to operate our in school and after school activities and provide support for all our families that need extra support at this time. The latest government guidance for parents and carers provides more detailed advice on attendance at activities.
As lock down restrictions are reviewed by the Government we will review our own future practices and restrictions. Please follow our social media accounts or contact us if you need further information.
